opportunities for Pipe Fitters.
Our client, Phoenix Petroleum Ltd. is an independently owned and operated organization established in 2002, which caters to the Down Stream Petroleum Industry.  Typical work would include design, management, construction and maintenance of bulk fuel storage facilities, aviation fuel facilities, convenience store gas bar, commercial fleet fuel sites along with general contracting of commercial buildings and renovation projects.  With base operations in Fredericton, New Brunswick (Head office), Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and Edmonton, Alberta they continue to grow and successfully service their client base throughout all of Canada and abroad.

The successful candidate will be required to:  

  • Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications
  • Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipe lines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods
  • Select pipe sizes and types and related materials, such as supports and hangers according to specifications
  • Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
  • Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures, such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment



  • Must be able to read drawings
  • Must be able to work well with others and individually
  • Be able to operate a torch and have some welding abilities
  • Must be an Interprovincial Red Seal or have a Journeyman Pipefitter ticket from a recognized provincial training authority, or be a registered Pipefitter Apprentice with a recognized provincial training authority
  • Must successfully complete drug and alcohol testing
  • Must possess a valid form of government issued photo identification
  • Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Travel is required. Candidates must be free to travel locally, nationally and potentially internationally to support the diverse and wide spread work/contracts our client supports
  • Must have valid passport or be willing to obtain one
  • Must be willing to learn and open to take any safety training, or industry standard training to advance your knowledge and be successful in this position
  • Must have valid drivers' license
